Survey of favorable habitat for the species Coincya rupestris (also known as the Alcaraz Mustard, according to the Castilla-La Mancha Botanical Garden catalog) in the vicinity of the overhead high-voltage power line from Bolaños de Calatrava to Moral de Calatrava (Ciudad Real).
During May 2022, exhaustive surveys were conducted in suitable habitats (limestone cliffs) for the presence of this biennial species, which is listed as 'Endangered' in the Regional Catalog of Threatened Species of Castilla-La Mancha. We surveyed the area with known presence to quantify the populations and identify areas that are potential habitats for the species. As a result, we counted 1,092 specimens of the species (402 rosettes and 690 mature plants) and identified a new area where it is present.
