Archaeological Intervention for the “Motilla de El Acequión” Research Project

The Albacete City Council, in collaboration with the Complutense University, has set the recovery of the Motilla de El Acequión archaeological site—declared a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC) by the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha in 1991—as one of its primary objectives. These preliminary efforts are essential to determine the extent of the archaeological remains, as well as their current state of preservation and existing damage, in preparation for future consolidation and restoration work.
