Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the “Calera Solar” Photovoltaic Solar Plant project in Bonete

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the 9.5 MWp installed capacity “Calera Solar” Photovoltaic Solar Plant project, including all new infrastructure required for its grid connection, located in the municipality of Bonete, Albacete province.
The PV plant converts solar radiation into electrical energy using a series of photovoltaic solar modules installed on a mounting structure system. The direct current (DC) electricity generated by the photovoltaic array is converted into alternating current (AC) by inverters, and a transformer then adjusts the voltage level to feed the energy into the nearest distribution grid.
In summary, the main subsystems that make up the photovoltaic installation are:
- Photovoltaic generator: photovoltaic modules.
- Power conditioning systems.
- Generator-to-inverter connection interface.
- Voltage conditioning system.
- Auxiliary systems.
- Transformer-to-grid connection interface: evacuation infrastructure.
